The Park County Animal Shelter (PCAS) is a private, 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that relies entirely on the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community to ensure that our animals receive the best possible care until they are adopted into loving homes. While monetary donations allow us to help the animals where it is needed most, physical items are critical as well. From cans of cat/kitten food to office supplies, every item donated helps us to invest much needed funds back into our animal care and programs.  Thank you for considering supporting our animals. PLEASE NOTE OUR DONATION POLICY – If you would like to drop off a donation at our shelter, please review the following lists as there are some things we would love to have, and other things that we cannot take due to lack of storage space and/or the safety of our animals.

Donations can be dropped off at any time using the front entrance foyer. If you would like a receipt for your donation, please plan to drop off your donation at the front desk during our regular shelter hours, which is Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

We CAN accept the following if VERY GENTLY USED or in NEW PACKAGING:

  • Linens-felt blankets (we cannot accept knit or crochet blankets or blankets with stuffing) No blankets with holes. 
  • Towels (NOT CURRENTLY TAKING TOWELS) 
  • Carabiner Clips
