With over eight years of experience in animal control program design, Ryan Johnson has revolutionized service delivery in his field. A United States Marine Corps veteran with a passion for leadership, Ryan transitioned into animal welfare in 2017, swiftly rising to become the Animal Control Program Director at Wyoming’s largest shelter. His unwavering advocacy led to the implementation of pre-conviction forfeiture laws statewide in 2019, significantly benefiting animals and shelters. Ryan has worked for several national animal welfare organizations in advocation for data-driven programming focused towards a mission of lifesaving.
