Park County Animal Shelter needs you now more than ever! As the quiet phase of the Capital Campaign fundraising to build a better shelter has been gaining momentum, we are seeing a greater need for money to provide for the everyday needs of the shelter. Everyday operations at the shelter continue 365 days a year, rain or shine, weekday or weekend, and even on holidays. The animals need food and medical care, workers to clean the facility, and just like your home, heating, cooling, lights, and communications services.
Perhaps you’ve adopted a pet from the shelter, or dropped off a stray. Maybe you stopped by the shelter during the Christmas holidays with a bottle of bleach, a box of detergent, or some pet treats. But have you shown your support by becoming a member of the Park County Animal Shelter? Your membership helps with expenses, and in return you receive the quarterly newsletter so you can keep up with what’s going on at the shelter.
Why not take a couple of minutes to click on ‘How Can I Help?’ on the main menu, and then choose “Become a Member,” or click on “Become a Member -Join PCAS Today!” at the top or bottom of this post. Individual memberships are $30, Senior individual memberships are only $20, youngsters through age 18 can join for only $10, and businesses can show their support for $100. Your membership is good for an entire year from the date of payment, and PCAS will send a reminder when it’s time to renew.
Thanks for your support of the shelter, in whatever form you choose to give. And remember, if your pet somehow gets out of the house or yard and is brought to the shelter as a stray, we’re here to provide a safe, healthy, and loving place until you can be reunited. That’s what your membership means to a poor lost animal and its owner. Join PCAS today and know you are helping more than ever.
