Joelyn visited Cody for the first time in April of 2016 and immediately knew this would be her home.  Less than 6 months later, she and her husband sold their acreage in Minnesota and moved to Wapiti with 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. They have since added 2 more horses, another dog, and 2 more cats (adopted from PCAS) to their family.  She works from her home for a technology company headquartered in Pleasanton, CA, where she specializes in Human Resources and Payroll software.  She enjoys riding, camping, and being around animals in her spare time.  She is honored to be serving on the Board for PCAS and looks forward to working with everyone involved. Joelyn was elected to the Board on June 18, 2020 and elected as President of the Board on May 19, 2022.

Kay has been active in Cody Rotary for 25 years, the Northwest Board of Realtors for 20 years, and has served on the Supervisory Committee for the Sunlight Federal Credit Union for 11 years. She is a retired realtor who loves animals and has a keen interest in the work of the Animal Shelter. Kay was elected to the Board as Secretary on May 20, 2021.

Aly joined the board in November 2023. She was previously a part of the staff that made the transition from the old shelter to our new shelter. She has always had a passion for animals and animal welfare from her time in vet tech school to working at the shelter. She cares for her own pack of two dogs, two kitties (who were adopted from the shelter) and her horse Sophie! She hopes to continue her animal advocation through her work on the PCAS board of directors!

Sharry Downs graduated from Cody High School and went on to study at the University of Wyoming. She spent many years working in her family business and is currently retired. Sharry loves animals and is passionate to begin working with the PCAS and their mission.

Laura has been a Park County resident since 2004 after moving here from New York City.  She has worked for Jetblue Airways for almost 24 years as a flight attendant. When she is not traveling for work, she likes to explore and travel for leisure, hike and spend time with friends and family…especially her grandchildren and her fur babies.  She and her husband share their home with 5 rescue dogs: Muggins, Jade, Norman, Jemma and Tigger. Committed to philanthropy, Katina and her family dedicate their efforts to many notable animal rescue non-profit causes in addition to Whisker Mountain and Board service with Park County Animal Shelter, Board service with Literacy Connects (former Member), Youth On Their Own (former Member) and StartUp Tucson (former Member).  As a Commercialization Partner (former) with the University of Arizona:  Tech Launch Arizona and an I-Corps Business Mentor thru the National Science Foundation program, Katina continues her mission-driven theme.
