Laura joins the Park County Animal Shelter Board after spending nearly 43 years as a Physical Therapist, including 17 years serving the Cody community while employed by the hospital. Throughout her career and beyond, Laura has remained committed to serving others through her volunteer work at St. Anthony of Padua Church and her long-standing involvement with the Cody Elks Lodge, where she has served in all chairs and had the honor of serving as State President.

Laura and her husband, Michael, are proud pet parents to four Epagneul Bretons and one Bernese Mountain Dog. She is excited to be part of the PCAS Board and looks forward to helping the shelter continue to grow, thrive, and support the animals and people of our community.

Diana has called the community home for the past six years and brings a lifetime of professional and personal experience to the board. A retired nurse with 47 years of service, her career included bedside care, emergency room nursing, management, and work in correctional healthcare settings.

She has been involved with animals for many years and comes from a family with strong ties to rodeo. With both her son and daughter competing, Diana also participated in rodeo herself.

Diana looks forward to serving on the PCAS board and helping strengthen the team, expand the shelter’s impact, and continue serving the community with professionalism, respect, and a positive environment.

Kay has been active in Cody Rotary for 25 years, the Northwest Board of Realtors for 20 years, and has served on the Supervisory Committee for the Sunlight Federal Credit Union for 11 years. She is a retired realtor who loves animals and has a keen interest in the work of the Animal Shelter. Kay was elected to the Board as Secretary on May 20, 2021.

Laura has been a Park County resident since 2004 after moving here from New York City.  She has worked for Jetblue Airways for almost 24 years as a flight attendant. When she is not traveling for work, she likes to explore and travel for leisure, hike and spend time with friends and family…especially her grandchildren and her fur babies.  She and her husband share their home with 5 rescue dogs: Muggins, Jade, Norman, Jemma and Tigger.

Don and his wife, Sheri, are Cody High School graduates and longtime members of the community. After spending nearly 20 years in Las Vegas, they returned to Cody to raise their children. Don is a former attorney and has served the community as a Park County Youth Services officer as well as a Ward 1 City Council member. He believes the animal shelter is an important part of the community and that all animals deserve compassionate care and a chance at a better life. Don and Sheri are especially grateful to the shelter for bringing them their beloved rescued dog, Sadie, who has brought so much joy to their family.
