Home To Home helps pets stay out of shelters. It is a unique, direct-to-adopter tool for pet guardians looking to re-home their animals. In just a few simple steps, pets can find a loving new home without ever seeing the inside of a shelter. It’s FREE to use for both guardians and adopters, and gives animals needing a new home the best of both worlds: their current guardian can find the best fit, and their adopter can learn all about their personality and preferences first-hand. It’s a win-win for pets!
Visit https://home-home.org/shelter/park-county-animal-shelter/ to get started today. ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Home To Home™ is an interactive platform created to help families, people, and pets with the difficult task of transitioning pets from one home to another. Oftentimes pets are taken to shelters when keeping a pet is no longer a possibility. Home To Home™ believes that pets should avoid a stay in an animal shelter and should instead be welcomed into loving homes. BENEFITS - Reduces stress on animals by keeping them out of the shelter
- Leaves more shelter resources available to animals with no other options- stray, abandoned or suffering from neglect
- Gives potential new owners a chance to learn more about the animals directly from the current owner

Walmart Volunteer Cleanup Day |
The local Walmart Supercenter #1778 sent out an AMAZING TEAM of volunteers to do spring cleanup on our shelter dog walking path. Fourteen hardworking volunteers spent the afternoon digging out overgrown grass and weeds. Several of the young men muscled out three winter killed trees from the landscape! We will now be able to replace them with fresh trees.
Walmart donated, water, hamburgers, weed spray, sprayers, fertilizer, rakes, shovels and a beautiful new variegated dogwood to help with the project. Our hometown Walmart is a generous supporter of PCAS, and their employees shared their hearts and strong work ethic on Friday afternoon. We are filled with gratitude. Next week when our dogs are walking on the pathway they will readily be rewarded by the efforts of this team of volunteers. When we all work together, we can make a huge difference in our community. Thank you to these incredible volunteers; Zacchery Ellis, Pat Tudor, Rigo Escalera, Laura Wendt, Tanner Schultz, Kim Beard, Joann Bradley, Richard Burch, Stacy Carnahan, Lenna Vega, Jeff Miller, Sherry Devries, Russell Leffel, and Glenda Franzen. When you see these people please give them a pat on the back for their labor of love. |
