Date(s) - January 19, 2018

The next Jack Russell/Corgi Races will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018. Doors open at 6 p.m. with races starting at 7 p.m.
The 2017 Races held at Cody Auditorium were tons of fun and a great success! Sponsors, Race Attendees, Food and Beverage Providers, Silent Auction Donors and Buyers, and Event Volunteers raised over $25,000 to help Park County Animal Shelter provide for all the animals that pass through the shelter this year. That sounds like a lot of money, and it is, but it’s only one-tenth of what it takes to operate the shelter for a full year.
PCAS reunites lost dogs and cats with their owners, takes in animals picked up as strays in the city and county, accepts animals when their owners can no longer keep them due to situations beyond their control, and helps find homes for unwanted puppies and kittens. Veterinary care is provided, and animals are neutered before they are adopted into their new homes. In addition, PCAS arranges for low cost Spay/Neuter clinics for qualified animal owners, and seeks to reduce the population of feral cats by providing spaying or neutering at no charge for feral cats.
So once the snow flies again, start thinking of January 2018 and the next Jack Russell/Corgi Races. Make your plans with friends and family to attend the races and support Park County Animal Shelter while you enjoy a great evening of food, drink, exciting races, and silent auction bidding. See you there!
